John Klepper’s 18-year journey as a serial entrepreneur in 4 countries and 3 sectors has given him a rather unique perspective. In recent years he has worked in Alzheimer’s research at Trinity College, before shifted to commercialization using AI for early detection and prevention of Alzheimer’s. In 2019, he co-founded PIPRA in Zurich, a MedTech startup addressing the prediction, prevention, and diagnosis of delirium in patients over 60. Their CE-certified product utilizes AI for clinician-administered risk prediction of postoperative delirium. Now a multi-award-winning company, PIPRA stands at the forefront of healthcare innovation for the aging population. John spends a good portion of his time traveling the global to help raise awareness on delirium through public speaking and media. He also enjoys supporting young entrepreneurs and startups as an advisor and board member.
