Plenary session: The AGE’IN Project: How to age well in place in the 2 seas Zone

The ageing of the population is one of the major challenges in Europe. The proportion of seniors will increase in the coming years as well as the number of dependent people. The Interreg 2 seas AGE’IN project aims to develop actions to enable the ageing population to live better and longer at home, through adaptations of housing and public space, while fighting against social isolation.

Through this project, the partners are committing themselves into public information actions for the public and the actors of the silver economy sector. After two years of work, this session reports on the progress of the project, the implementation of the living-lab and demonstration flat in the territories of the partner countries as well as the first results of the studies on how to age well in place.
