Practitioners’ perspectives on preventing malnutrition: Dietary practices and needs of older adults

Involved into academic research programs in the field of geriatric medicine and public health for older
citizens since 2005, co-applicant of several EU funded projects, expert in 2 EU funded projects, chief
executive coordinator of several national projects with focus in the field of sarcopenia and
malnutrition (coordinator Nutrition Day in Nursing Homes in Styria, RIMO project StGKK and many
others), stakeholder in international projects (SENATOR, Shared decision making and many others),
stakeholder in guidelines development (Leitlinien zur Ernährung alter Menschen in Österreich des
BMG and many others)- Program director for curricular development at MUG for clinical education in
undergraduate curriculum, Program director and coordinator for curricular development in EAMA
