France Silver Éco and Swap exchange words on Silver Economy’s issues
The start-up Swap recently introduced its innovation dedicating to Alzheimer’s disease at the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) in Las Vegas. The founder and head of Swap (winner of the Silver Académie in November 2016) had a talk with Catherine Marcadier-Saflix, Managing Director of France Silver Éco which is one of its partners. They discussed the perks of their partnership and the opportunities it can lead to.
A call for projects was launched to support innovation in Normandie
The Caisse d’Epargne Normandie and TECHSAP Ouest decided to put together a call for projects to boost innovative ideas that could provide answers especially to seniors in the “ageing well” field. Financial assistance up to 10 000 euros and support from TECHSAP Ouest’s Living Lab will be granted.
Trophées SilverEco 2017: Meilleure Initiative Santé for LifeInaBox
During the SilverNight, the Trophées SilverEco 2017, LifeInA won the “Meilleure Initiative Santé” Prize for LinInABox, world’s tiniest refrigerator that can hold fragile medicines.

The Geriatric Department of Toulouse and the ARS Occitanie take action to evaluate seniors’ fragility
Both organizations set up a cooperation protocol to evaluate the fragility of patients over 75 years old at home. At the end of 2016, more than 300 evaluations were carried out by over forty-something specially trained nurses.
